About Me
Dylan Thomas is a junior at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ, with a passion for music, service, and leadership. Inspired by the power of music to bring comfort and connection to the elderly, he founded The Thomas Trio, a youth-led musical outreach initiative that brings live performances on the viola to seniors in nursing homes and hospice centers.
Dylan has been an active musician for most of his life within his high school and parish community, having performed over 400 Sunday masses with the St. Catharine/St. Margaret parish orchestra.
Outside of music, Dylan is a student-athlete, competing in tennis and surfing, and an Eagle Scout. He also participates in Mock Trial as lead attorney for his school’s team and serves as a Big Brother Mentor to three freshmen.
Dylan regularly volunteers with The People’s Pantry, where he created the nonprofit’s first website to increase donations and volunteer engagement. He has also contributed 75+ hours over three summers to the University of Notre Dame’s Family Volunteer Camp, supporting local nonprofits in the South Bend community.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, weightlifting, poker, and mahjong. He lives in Spring Lake, NJ, with his parents, younger sister, and younger brother.
