Dylan earned Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America, achieved by only 4% of Scouts. He completed 30 merit badges and led an 80+ hour service project building a bluestone patio and bike rack for a 100-year-old community center serving residents of all ages.

He also founded Christian Brothers Academy’s first Scouting Club, launching a calculator drive that collected 400+ calculators for students in Africa and organizing a textbook drive for under-resourced schools.

Dylan earned the Congressional Award Gold Medal, the highest honor from the U.S. Congress for young Americans. He completed 400+ hours of community service, 200+ hours of personal development, 200+ hours of physical fitness, and a 5-day expedition.

Dylan is a Presidential Scholar, awarded the Brother Andrew O’Gara FSC Memorial Scholarship at Christian Brothers Academy in recognition of exceptional academic ability, leadership, and commitment to positively impacting his school and community.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1838 awarded Dylan Scout of the Year in regognition of his leadership, community service, and commitment to citizenship. He was recently nominated for the VFW State of New Jersey Scout of the Year Award.

Dylan was selected for the Tri-M Music Honor Society, an international organization recognizing musical and academic achievement while fostering leadership, service, and community engagement.

He received Most Improved Underclassman from the Performing Arts Department for founding and leading CBA’s first string program, and was awarded the Tort Family Music Scholarship as an incoming freshman for exceptional musical talent.

Dylan was granted membership to the National Honor Society in January 2026. The National Honor Society, or NHS, is is a premier organization for high school students in grades 10–12 designed to recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Spanish National Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica) is an academic organization for high school students sponsored by the AATSP.org to recognize excellence in Spanish and Portuguese studies. Dylan became a member in January, after an application process, and is recognized for his achievements in learning the Spanish Language.
